On Sunday, Mahesh Babu honored his late mother, Indira Devi, with a heartfelt tribute on the anniversary of her birth.
Mahesh posted a vintage photo to Instagram. “Happy Birthday, Amma…,” was the caption. I am missing you more than words can express.” with two heart emojis.
Namrata Shirodkar, Mahesh’s wife, also shared a black-and-white photo of her mother-in-law on social media along with the caption, “Celebrating you in spirit, today and always.”
Five children were born to Indira Devi and her husband, the renowned Telugu actor Krishna Ghattamaneni: Mahesh Babu, the late Ramesh Babu, Padmavathi, Manjula, and Priyadarshini.
She passed away at the age of 70 on September 28, 2022, at AIG Hospital in Hyderabad, following age-related health complications.
On the professional front, Mahesh Babu is presently working on SSMB29, his eagerly awaited movie with renowned director SS Rajamouli. This is the first time that these two titans of Telugu film have worked together. Mahesh is reportedly going to play a role that was influenced by Lord Hanuman.
The movie might be released in two parts and is rumored to have been made on a huge budget of between Rs 900 and Rs 1000 crore. Despite the fact that production is under progress, more information regarding the cast and crew is yet unknown.
