The original patriotic anthem “Vande Mataram” from the upcoming feature film Lieutenant Norman – Bhairava is set to release on January 26, 2026, marking India’s Republic Day. The song is a heartfelt tribute to the courage, sacrifice, and silent service of India’s war heroes — including the often-unseen bravery of military K9 units.

The song is being released with the endorsement and blessings of Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan, renowned public intellectual, former IAS officer, and founder of the Lok Satta movement, adding special significance to the Republic Day launch.

Lieutenant Norman – Bhairava is being positioned as India’s first AI-driven cinematic war film centered around a military dog, blending emotion, patriotism, and cutting-edge technology. The film explores the deep bond between soldiers and war dogs, presenting a powerful story of duty beyond medals.

The film is written and directed by Goutham Kool Monkk, an independent filmmaker, composer, and Amazon #1 bestselling author. Known for emotionally driven storytelling, Goutham has also composed the music for Vande Mataram, creating a completely original musical interpretation of the public-domain poem by Bankim Chandra Chatterjee.

Produced under the banner PINGS CINEWORKS, the film is jointly produced by Shankar Bhukya and Goutham Kool Monkk.

What sets the project apart is its innovative use of AI technology in cinematic visualization, generative visuals, and music production, making it one of the earliest Indian films to explore AI as a creative tool while preserving human emotion at its core.

Speaking about the release, director Goutham Kool Monkk said,
“Vande Mataram is not just a song — it is a responsibility. Through Lieutenant Norman – Bhairava, we wanted to honour the silent warriors who serve the nation without asking for recognition.”

The song will be available across 22 digital platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, Instagram, and other major global streaming services, starting Republic Day.

The film is scheduled for a theatrical release in 2026.
