On Tuesday, the Asus ExpertBook P Series laptops featuring the newest Intel chipsets were introduced in India. ExpertBook P1, ExpertBook P3, and ExpertBook P5 are improved models. The laptops, which are designed for professionals and enterprises, have enterprise-grade service support, military-grade durability, and built-in NPU for artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. According to Asus, the Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors and security features including an optical chassis intrusion alert, self-healing BIOS, and a dedicated TPM 2.0 chip power the ExpertBook P series. They have three-cell batteries and are powered by Windows 11.
Asus ExpertBook P Series Price in India
The base model of the Asus ExpertBook P1, which comes with an Intel Core i3 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 512GB of onboard storage, costs Rs. 39,990 in India. With an Intel Core i5 CPU, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of inbuilt storage, the Asus ExpertBook P3 costs Rs. 64,990. The ExpertBook P5, on the other hand, costs Rs. 94,990 and comes with an Intel Core Ultra 5 processor, 16GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage.
The laptops, which were introduced in collaboration with Flipkart, will go on sale on the online retailer’s website on April 21. Customers will also have the option to purchase them on Flipkart Minutes. The color Misty Grey is available for all models.
Purchases bought between April 21 and April 23 will also receive an extra two years of extended warranty and two years of accidental damage insurance, valued at Rs. 3,499 and Rs. 1,499, respectively, from the firm. Additionally, from April 21 to April 27, there is a special launch promotion that offers a bonus of up to Rs. 3,000.
Asus ExpertBook P Series Specifications
The Asus ExpertBook P1 is offered in two screen sizes — 14-inch and 15.6-inch. Both models have a full-HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) anti-glare IPS screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio and 300 nits peak brightness. The laptop is powered by up to an Intel Core i7-13620H processor with 10 cores and 16 threads. It is complemented by 16GB of DDR5 RAM along with two SO-DIMM slots which support up to 64GB expandable RAM. The laptop also gets up to 1TB of M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD storage, and Intel UHD Graphics integrated graphics card.
It has a full-size keyboard with 1.35 mm key travel, an HD camera, dual speakers, a dual microphone array, along with Asus AI noise-canceling technology. Connectivity options on the Asus ExpertBook P1 include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port with DisplayPort support, USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A port, HDMI 1.4 port, a Kensington nano lock slot, an RJ45 ethernet port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It packs a 50Wh 3-cell lithium polymer battery.
A 14-inch full-HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) anti-glare IPS screen with a maximum brightness of 400 nits and 100% sRGB coverage is included on the Asus ExpertBook P3. It is identical to the ExpertBook P1 model in terms of processor, storage, I/O ports, and battery characteristics. The laptop has a 1080p Full HD camera with a privacy shutter and an infrared feature to support Windows Hello. It has Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi 6E for connectivity.
The top-tier Asus ExpertBook P5 model has the same screen as the ExpertBook P1 and P3 versions by default. It can, however, be fitted with a display with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a resolution of up to WQXGA (2,560 x 1,600 pixels). Up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 258V processor, up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM, up to 1TB of M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD storage, and a 6GB SSD cache are the specifications listed by the business. The laptop’s AI capabilities are powered by an Intel AI Boost NPU. According to Asus, the NPU alone provides 47 TOPS of processing power, while the CPU, GPU, and NPU together provide a compute of 115 TOPS.
Connectivity options on the Asus ExpertBook P5 include USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, Thunderbolt 4 ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, and a 3.55mm headphone jack. It has a 63Wh 3-cell lithium ion battery and ships with a 65W power adapter with USB Type-C charging.
The US military has certified the ExpertBook P3 and ExpertBook P5 versions to MIL-STD-810H. The laptops’ I/O ports are protected with metal bracing to endure up to 9 kg of physical strain, and its hinge has been tested for 50,000 open-close cycles. According to Asus, each key has been tested for one crore keystrokes, and the keyboard can withstand up to 78cc of liquid spillage. According to reports, the Asus ExpertBook P series has undergone pressure, vibration, and shock testing to handle the stresses and knocks of daily commuting.
