With the start of season five of Netflix’s series Emily in Paris in May, Lily Collins is prepared to return to Paris and Rome in the summer.
The Hollywood Reporter claims that the filming will begin in Rome and then return to Paris this summer.
William Abadie (Antoine Lambert), Lucien Laviscount (Alfie), Ashley Park (Mindy Chen), Lucas Bravo (Gabriel), Samuel Arnold (Julien), Bruno Gouery (Luc), Collins (Emily Cooper), Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu (Sylvie Grateau), and Eugenio Franceschini (Marcello) are among the cast members. According to the site, they will all return to their roles.
This season does not feature Camille Razat, a former cast member who played Camille in the first four seasons.
Bravo had stated that he had been dissatisfied with the path his character was taking and had questioned whether he wanted to return for a fifth season, so his reappearance as Gabriel is very unexpected, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
“I want to see if Gabriel returns to his lively, jovial, cheeky, and enjoyable self. Because it is no longer enjoyable to play melancholy, unhappy, miserable, and lost after three seasons. It is a comedy, everyone is hopping around and having a good time around me, and I am just slowly becoming lost in whatever it is,” Bravo had said.
Although not much is known about season five, the fourth installment concluded with Agence Grateau, the show is production company, opening an office in Rome that Sylvie wants Emily to run. This gives her an excuse to remain in Italy close to her new love interest, Marcello, and leaves things open with Gabriel, according to the outlet.
